november
november is the start of late autumn and the end of harvest following samhain, the days feel short and the nights are dark and long. now that samhain has passed i can start to look forward to yule and all the festive traditions that surround it. this is one of our favourite times of year, full of feastings and gatherings. it is still important to bring our bodies into balance by focussing on hydrating foods, grounding roots and vegetables, and warming spices and herbs.

full moon | 08.11 | beaver moon | blood moon lunar eclipse
new moon | 23.11
this month is an extra special blood moon lunar eclipse. the naming of the beaver moon is because beavers build their winter dams in the moonlight and hunters set traps to use their fur to stay warm during the winter. we can follow the example of the beaver and start nesting with this full moon; so bring out your cosy blankets and candles.
the kosmic kitchen taught us a beautiful ritual for when the nights are drawing in: cook by candle light. there is no better way to bring some cosy magic into your home.
tag us in your candlelight cooking.
we have a few events before christmas, including our late autumn supper clwb and a festive feast. we hope you can join us for some seasonal celebrations so you can deepen your connection with nature and traditions.
